Cuccinelli No Shows Legal Proceeding
On May 2, 2013, Virginia's Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli was supposed to show up in court to ask the judge in the case to remove him due to a conflict of interest. Cuccinelli failed to show up, and sent an underling to plead for his recusal.
The judge decided to allow Virginia's Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli to recuse his office from an embezzlement case involving the governor's former chef, Todd Schneider. The judge cited Cuccinelli's conflict of interest as the chief concern.
Once again, Ken Cuccinelli's ethical failings had prevented him from performing his duties as Attorney General for the people of Virginia.
