Terry McAuliffe makes a promise to the Women of Virginia
On Saturday afternoon, April 27, 2013, Democratic candidate for Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe showed up unexpectedly and surprised the crowd with an impromptu speech. During that speech Terry McAuliffe promised to stand up for the rights of Virginia Women, rights which have been under a sustained assault from the Republican Party of Virginia for years.
If Virginia's Women want to improve their circumstances and move forward, they should support Terry McAuliffe over Ken "the Mooch" Cuccinelli. Cuccinelli has been an important leader in the Republican Party's program to make women second-class citizens.
Elections have consequences and Virginia's women need to ask themselves what they want this year's elections to mean.
