Mitt Romney invests in "weaponized" Chinese oil company
Mitt Romney was an investor in a Chinese oil company that China uses to retaliate against the United States for taking policy positions that China doesn't like. CNOOC is wholly owned by the Chinese government, but it has a majority ownership in a subsidiary that is publicly traded in Hong Kong. Mitt Romney was an investor in this subsidiary while it was doing energy deals with Iran.
Great choice for a candidate GOP--someone tell Netanyahu that his best bud is doing business with Iran behind his back.
