McDonnell's budget puts children at risk to sexual predators

Hands Off Alicia's Law! from PROTECT on Vimeo.

When I was 13, I was abducted from my home by a child predator and taken to Virginia. I was rescued four days later.

In 2010, I returned to Virginia. Then, with the help of PROTECT members all over America, we passed Alicia's Law! This law imposed a new fine on criminals and put the money in a fund for rescuing other children like me.

Now Governor Bob McDonnell wants to raid the Alicia's Law Fund, taking $650,000 a year from children waiting for help.

These children's fate now rests in the hands of the Virginia House and Senate. We have just a few days to stop this crime from happening.

Please watch my video message and see the evidence. Then call the lawmakers below and tell them Hands Off Alicia's Law! Children's lives are at stake.

P.S. If you are asked for a bill number or other technical info, don't worry. The cuts are in "the Governor's budget" and the solution will have to be in "the 2012-2014 budget." They *know* exactly what you are calling about.
