Rand Paul doesn't deny the "Aqua Buddha" story, but threatens to sue

Rand Paul's campaign is reeling tonight after revelations that the senate candidate abducted a female team mate in college, tried to force her to smoke marijuana, and then forced her to worship a pagan "Aqua Buddha" instead of Jesus.

Paul's campaign is threatening to sue GQ, even thought it hasn't denied the story's truth--which is odd because the truth of a story is an absolute defense to a claim of defamation. GQ is saying that it checked the facts and is standing by its reporter.
