More Tea Party Racism: Tea Party Comix

The Tea Party is never going to be able to shake the racist taint. The Tea Party Movement has too many branches and factions--basically anyone can call themselves "Tea Party." Many of the Tea Party factions openly welcomed disaffected racists until quite recently, when some members of the Tea Party movement began to realize that the presence of large numbers of very vocal racists within the movement was holding it back. But for every Mark Williams that is chased out, another mind boggling incidence of racism bubbles to the surface of the Tea Party movement. Consider the case of Tea Party Comix:
The progressive webscape has been alight for the past couple days with the story of a truly amazing bit of racism -- the Tea Party Comix. These black and white pages, resembling one of those free zines the nerds among us used to pore through before the days of blogs, are reigniting the debate over tea party racism in the days before the movement's latest diversity-themed event.

Today, some top tea partiers are disavowing the truly impressively bigoted comic books, claiming that they're an obvious plant by tea party opponents. But at the same time, no one seems to know much about them. The mystery is still unsolved and the comics remain.
The Republican Party has unleashed racists on itself and they are consuming the public image of the GOP much faster than the Tea Party's half-hearted attempts to police itself can repair the damage.
