McEachin: McDonnell neglecting his duties as Governor

Senator Donald McEachin is making it very clear that Governor Bob McDonnell is neglecting his duties as Governor to play national politics.

Maybe McDonnell is interested in becoming the next Chairman of the Republican National Committee.  With Virginia facing a budget crisis that Bob McDonnell has done less than nothing to solve, should McDonnell really be pursuing a national political career?

So far, all McDonnell has done is to propose new spending without any new revenue or any significant cuts to spending.  Maybe after tonight Governor McDonnell will be able to settle down and focus on his new job full time.

I wonder if McEachin said anything about former Governor Timmy's activities?

Well James, I think you've put your finger on the issue, so to speak: after everything Republicans have said about "Timmy," how could they let "Bobby" proceed with this bit of national politicking when "Bobby" hasn't finished his homework? Last time I checked, Wednesday was a school night.
