If only it were the polar bears. In fact, it's much, much worse: it's the French Canadians:
Two French Canadians from Montreal' CKOI radio station pretended to be French President Nicolas Sarkozy and had five minutes of fun with a very giggly, star-struck Palin. Now remember folks, this is the woman who is positioned to become the new leader of the Republican Party as it passes into the minority and becomes an opposition party. I don't know how we Democrats will cope wiuth this mastermind, but we'll just have to do our best.
The few times she catches her breath from giggling, she sounds off a few McCain talking points about taxes and the middle class and sounds every bit like the lightweight simpleton that she is. Seriously, is this how she will handle speaking to foreign heads of state??? Laugh and flirt like a schoolgirl? Tee-hehe-heeeeee!
Foremost on her mind, obviously, is the pain of being panned by the media. She mentions media censure several times, as she assumes wrongly that Sarkozy's wife, the wildly popular Carla Bruni, is subject to media disapproval in France the same way Palin is in the US.
There are a few French Canadian in-jokes there, when the pranksters give names of 'officials,' they are actually the names of popular figures in Quebec.
The audio ends with the pranksters admitting to their prank. Palin abruptly and unceremoniously hands the phone to her assistant, who grimly ends the conversation.
