I meant to post this earlier, but got distracted. Here's another chance to see this amazing interview by Jon Stewart. Listen to what Ms. Logan has to say about the quality of the reporting Americans get about the real situation in Iraq and Afghanistan. The only thing the surge has succeeded in doing is reducing the amount of coverage the wars get in the United States.
Simply put, the surge was more about propaganda than actual results on the battlefield. The networks simply aren't covering the war. The so-called experts the media uses are all propagandists for the Pentagon.
