"Yes we can"

This is an amazing video making its way around the internet. The video is by Jesse Dylan and of the Black Eyed Peas, along with several celebrity friends (see if you can name them all).

The song is based on Barack Obama's New Hampshire election night speech on January 5th. It says a lot about the lyrical quality of Obama's speech that it can serve as the basis for a song.

Forward this video to a friend.

I was in the room that night, and the speech brought me to tears. This song says a lot about the power of music and the power of inspired rhetoric.

I've posted it to my blog. We'll see how far it can go.

We will begin healing from the first peoples' wounds, tears and blood! We will apologise to all the people we have done wrong. It has begun in Ozyland!
