A Clinton Campaign dirty trick hits close to home

You know what they say about what happens when you tangle with the Clintons?

Well imagine my surprise to find out that a Clinton supporter had stolen my intellectual property and my identity and was trying to represent me, J.C. Wilmore, the first blogger in the Virginia blogosphere to endorse Barack Obama, as a committed supporter of Hillary Clinton. Why does the Clinton campaign feel it has to resort to such dirty tricks?

You can read all about the scandal as it emerges over at Raising Kaine.

Apparently you didn't get the memo, J.C. Clinton supporters can routinely lie, cheat and steal. They just can. Why do they do it? Because they're them. It just "is."

Our obligation as true Democrats is to nod, smile, steadfastly ignore their steadfastly sleazy tactics, and above all, NOT CRITICIZE ANOTHER DEMOCRAT, even though Clinton supporters are permitted, by the rules they alone fashioned, to criticize other Democrats, often falsely, and to run our party straight into a ditch.

While I'm no copyright lawyer, Little Peter's blatant theft certainly raises some interesting issues under newer copyright concepts. More importantly, it is a small window onto the complete lack of ethics of a potential third Clinton administration. I wonder who financed this slimy venture?
