I have no idea how Tim Russert decided on the order of his presidential primary interviews, but today, live from Manchester, New Hampshire, Russert will interview Senator John McCain for about half an hour just two days from the New Hampshire presidential primary. If that were not enough, McCain will also appear with Bob Schieffer on "Face the Nation" today.
To say this is a lucky break for McCain is a vast understatement; he will essentially get two additional opportunities to hammer home the points he made in last night's Republican debate. McCain will dominate two out of three of the Sunday morning news shows.
Looking elsewhere, George Stephanopoulos will split his hour on "This Week" between Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, and John Edwards.
