CNN: Kerry to endorse Obama; Richardson out is reporting that Senator Barack Obama will receive the endorsement of Senator John Kerry later today. Kerry, the 2004 Democratic nominee, was narrowly defeated by President George W. Bush in one of the closest presidential elections in American History.

There have been rumors floating about for some time that Obama had secured several key endorsements. Now that Clinton has revived her campaign with a win in New Hampshire, we can look forward to many of these strategic endorsements.

In other news, Bill Richardson will apparently pull the plug on his presidential campaign today after finishing a distant fourth in Iowa and New Hampshire. No word on whether Richardson, whose support has hovered around the 5% mark, intends to endorse one of the other major candidates.
