10,000+ Rally for Obama in Washington DC

Today was another amazing day for Barack Obama. Lowell, from Raising Kaine, was outside the event:
Today was the rally for Barack Obama with Caroline Kennedy and Sen. Ted. Kennedy at American University's Bender Arena. The good news is that the 6,000-seat arena, plus overflow areas, were both packed. The bad news is that thousands of people -- a line stretching way down the street, around the corner, etc. -- couldn't get in. All told, there must have been 10,000 people there today, waiting for hours, who WANTED to see Barack Obama. I heard that some AU students even camped out overnight. Truly amazing.
I'm going to shamelessly steal one of Lowell's photos of the crowd lined up outside the event.

Visit Raising Kaine to see the rest of these photos. What a huge crowd!

It's more than a crowd: it's movement!

Now let's enjoy some of the action!
